The mission of the Lake PTA is to encourage, empower and engage families, teachers and community members for the benefit of every student.  We do this through a number of fund-raising and educational activities throughout the year.  Our main fund-raisers are the sale of Butterbraids in the Fall and our Taco Bingo event in February.  All money raised goes directly back to the school to support Technology, Student Recognition, Classroom Resources, Staff Appreciation, and much more.

General PTA Meeting

On January 29th we will have a PTA Meeting that all parents are welcomed to.  Mrs. Roeske will present on Top 20, the program students are learning to become the “best version of ourselves.”  We will have a brief business meeting followed by a tour of the school’s new addition!  Please join us from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Media Center.

Taco BINGO Fundraiser!

TACO BINGO NIGHT is coming up fast!  February 22nd (5:30 - 8:00 PM) is just around the corner, and we need your help to make our only community event a success. Please consider donating some of your time, talent, or treasures in one of the following ways:
· Contact local businesses.  Right now, this is our biggest need.  Local businesses have received a request for donations, we just need to follow up with them.  Making just 2-3 calls or asking at a business you frequent (a script is provided!) would be a great help.  You can sign up here.
· Donate.  We need items for the bingo prizes in addition to the raffle and silent auction.  Gift certificate you’ll never use?  Tickets to a game or concert?  We’ll take it!  Want to promote your business?  Send in product, a gift card, or some schwag! Business donations will get listed on our website and at the event as sponsors! Chips, candy bars, and $5-$10 gift cards...big or small, we’ll find a use for it!   Items can be sent with your student to school and dropped in the office, just be sure to indicate that they’re a donation for Taco Bingo.
· Volunteer.  We need help before and during the event.  Just an hour of your time will help – some of it can even be done at home!  Click here to help before the day of the event or here to help the day of the event.   
· Participate.  Our online auction will run from February 7th -21st, so look for information on how to participate.   And be sure to join us from 5:30-8:30 for a fun-filled evening!  Family members of all ages are welcome!
